Frequently Asked Questions
What sort of space do you require for performing?
We have worked with a wide variety of spaces for our shows – from common rooms in retirement homes to community halls with small stages. We set up with a line of chairs at the back for our 10 or so performers. In front of the chairs we need at least six feet of space to perform in. So our minimum performance space is about 20 feet wide by 8 feet deep. But give us a call and we can discuss.
How much do you charge for a show?
Currently our fee is $150 to do a performance at your location. The show fee is intended to cover our travel and publicity costs as well as incidental expenses.
Do you offer any discounts for those with tight budgets?
We do appreciate that some groups have very tight budgets. If you could work with us in helping to arrange for multiple shows in the same area on the same day then our travel costs are less and a discount possible. Or if you are putting on a benefit for a good cause then we may want to contribute by reducing our fee. Let’s not make money a barrier to good times. Give us a call. We can see what we can do.
I want to see your show. How can I do that?
Although many of our shows are at retirement homes or other private venues, we also do public performances from time to time. And it may be possible for us to arrange for you to attend one of our private shows. Please just send us an email and we can see what we can do to make you part of our audience.
